How GIVORAA protects your direct payment

Recommended

🟣 Option 1 – Pay GIVORAA

Order a service package or hire through a job proposal and pay at GIVORAA checkout by card, UPI or crypto. GIVORAA holds the payment and pays the freelancer after delivery.

  • ✔ Covered by the 15-day refund policy
  • ✔ No block request needed
  • ✔ Track everything in My Account → Orders

🔵 Option 2 – Pay the freelancer directly

Agreed to pay a freelancer outside GIVORAA? You can still be protected – but only with a security deposit block that the freelancer has accepted before you pay.

  • ✔ Protected up to the blocked amount
  • ✔ Refund from the freelancer’s deposit if your claim is approved
  • ⚠ Without an accepted block, a direct payment is not protected
Check a Payment ID ↑
⚠ Important – always follow this order: First send a block request and wait until the freelancer accepts it (status shows “Blocked”). Only then pay the freelancer directly. If you pay before the block is accepted, your payment is not protected.
1Check the Payment ID

Enter the freelancer’s Payment ID above. You see their name, verified tick and the security deposit available.

2Send a block request

Add your name, email, the service you agreed and the amount you will pay.

3Freelancer accepts

The same amount is held (“blocked”) from the freelancer’s security deposit. You get an email with your private tracking link.

4Now pay the freelancer

Pay the freelancer directly as you agreed. Your payment is now protected by the blocked deposit.

5Work done? Release

When you receive the work, click “Work done, release block”. The block is removed and the deal is completed.

✅ If you are happy

Release the block from your tracking link or from My Account → Protected payments. The freelancer’s deposit is freed and the deal is marked complete.

⏳ If you do not respond in 14 days

If you do not release the block or report a problem within 14 days after it was accepted, GIVORAA treats the project as complete and releases the block to the freelancer automatically. Please report any problem before then.

🛡 If there is a problem

Work not delivered, not as agreed, or the freelancer stopped responding? Click “Report a problem” before the 14 days end. The amount stays blocked while the GIVORAA team reviews both sides.

💰 Already paid and not satisfied? Don’t worry

If our team agrees with your complaint, GIVORAA pays you the blocked amount from the freelancer’s security deposit – even though you paid the freelancer directly.

💸

Paid directly but didn’t receive the service? We refund you.

If you paid a freelancer directly and did not receive the service, report a problem from your tracking link. The GIVORAA team reviews the case. When your claim is approved, we debit the freelancer’s security deposit and credit you the same amount you paid (up to the amount that was blocked for your request).

Do I pay GIVORAA or the freelancer?

Both are possible. Paying GIVORAA (service packages or hiring through a proposal at checkout) is recommended – GIVORAA holds the payment and your order is covered by the 15-day refund policy. Paying the freelancer directly is also possible: GIVORAA does not receive that money, so your protection comes from the freelancer’s security deposit – request a block and wait for it to be accepted before you pay.

Why must the freelancer accept first?

The protection starts only when the amount is blocked. Until the freelancer accepts, nothing is held, so do not pay yet.

How much can I protect?

Up to the freelancer’s available deposit shown above. If your payment is larger, ask the freelancer to top up their deposit first, or protect part of the amount.

How will I receive my refund?

Once your claim is approved, the amount is debited from the freelancer’s security deposit and paid to you by bank transfer, PayPal, credit/debit card, crypto or UPI – whichever you choose. Refunds are available worldwide.

Where can I follow my request?

In the private link we email you, or under My Account → Protected payments when you are signed in.

What does “released” mean for the freelancer?

The held amount becomes available in the freelancer’s security deposit again. It means the deal is completed successfully.
