How GIVORAA collects, uses and protects your personal data.

1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, country, password (stored hashed), profile photo.
- Freelancer profile data: headline, biography, skills, languages, experience, education, portfolio, certifications, links.
- Verification data: identity documents and results, processed by approved KYC providers where required.
- Transaction data: orders, amounts, currencies, payment status and references. Card details are handled by payment providers; we do not store card numbers or CVV.
- Communications: messages and files exchanged in orders and support tickets.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, cookies and logs for security and analytics.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the marketplace, process orders, payments, refunds and payouts
- To verify identities and prevent fraud, abuse and money laundering
- To provide support and resolve disputes
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations
- To improve the service and, with consent where required, send marketing
3. Sharing
We share data with the other party to your order, payment and payout providers, KYC providers, hosting and email providers, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
4. International transfers
As a global service, data may be processed in other countries with appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and afterwards as required for legal, tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
6. Security
HTTPS, password hashing, two-factor authentication, role-based access, encrypted sensitive data, audit logs and regular backups.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. You can request account deletion at any time. Contact support@givoraa.com.
